Positive India: Rahul Gandhi has attacked Abhishek Singh the MP and son of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr.Raman Singh for his name appearing in Panama Papers. Rahul Gandhi attacked both BJP and Anhishek at Raipur during lokarpan of Rajiv Bhavan. He eloborated further that even Pakistan’s Prime Minister has been jailed for the same reason but no action has been taken in the case of Abhishek Singh(MP)- Rajnandgaon.
Panama paper has name of Abhishek Singh which alleges that Abhishek has assets in the British Virgin Islands.
With this attack on Abhishek and Dr.Raman Singh, Rahul Gandhi has fuelled elections campaign in Chhattisgarh which is scheduled for later this year. Rahul Gandhi said, “When the name of former Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif appeared in Panama papers, he was convicted in it. In Chhattisgarh when the name of your CM’s son comes in Panama papers, investigation doesn’t even begin.”
On the other side, Abhishek Singh(MP) from Rajnandgaon has refuted all the allegations and claims of opposition and said that all the accusations are “false, mischievous and politically motivated.” He has denied any account and assets as mentioned in Panama papers which rocked world politics. Opposion parties are using Panama Paper leak case as weapon to mount pressure on BJP and Modi Govt in this election year.
