VNR Seeds Bags EOTY- Award By CM Bhupesh Baghel
EO Raipur chapter has awarded 18 entrepreneurs of Chhattisgarh in various categories.

VNR Seeds bagged The Innovative Business Model Award above 10 crores category. Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel and Riju Jhunjhunwala of Bhilwada group awarded Arvind Agrawal-director of VNR Seeds Pvt Ltd, on behalf of EO. VNR Seeds bagged this prestigious award in a tough fight of more than 200 nominations. VNR’s innovative business model has benefitted thousands of people directly. Lacs of farmers all over India has already doubled their income by using VNR seeds and its innovative technology. One classical example is VNR Guava or Bihi which has changed the fortunes of farmers across Pan India.
The best CSR practice award was bagged by Kamal Kishore Agrawal of Akash Ispat. Best Start Up award by Pradeep Khetrapal of Aurum. CM Bhupesh Baghel awarded Shantilal Baradia of AT group under the Best Brand category. Abhay Goel got award for his Shri Ganesh Global Gulal Pvt Ltd.
This year women were far ahead in getting awards. Ruchi Agrawal of Satyam Caterers, Namrata Yadu of Chhattisgarh Mashrooms and Young Women Entrepreneur Shubhika Jain were awarded by CM Bhupesh Baghel.
Kaustubh Dharmadhikari of KAPS ice cream has been awarded for his innovative business model. KAPS ice cream is available in more than 100 flavours in four states of India.Suresh Sachdev of Mohan Lal & Company, Yash Agrawal of Gim Books, Manish Agrawal of Techment Technology,Pratik Bachhawat, and Dhruv Goel of Steel Mint were honoured by EO Raipur Chapter.
Ashok Kankaria of Sumeet group has been honoured under “Life Time Achievement Category Award”.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has assured all entrepreneurs of Chhattisgarh to provide full support for the growth and development of business in the state. Very soon,CG Govt will launch new Industrial Policy in consultation with industrialists of the state. CM Bhupesh Baghel emphasised that we must questions. It is the question which will lead to the solution of problems.
EOTY Programme Chairman Riju Jhunjhunwala electrified the audience with his narrative like how he entered in business as early as at the age of 21 years and tasted failure for almost three years. He then entered in his family business Bhilwada group, again at the age of just 23 years,and then joined EO, learnt from the experiences from the peers and churned profits and took his company from 500 crores to 2000 crores. And now, Riju Jhunjhunwala is flexing his muscles in politics too as he has contested Loksabha election from Ajmer Constituency on the ticket of Indian National Congress.
EO Chapter president Amit Agrawal gave thanks to Umesh Agrawal, Ramesh Agrawal of Real Ispat group and Mr.Bhaskar of IIM Raipur as jury members who took pains to develop a transparent system to choose deserving entrepreneurs for awards.
In this EOTY Award ceremony, Rajesh Agrawal, Prashant Dhadiwal,Pankaj Sharda, Anand Singhania and industrialists from all walk of life were present.
