Serial Bomb Blasts hit Sri Lanka on Easter and killed 166 and injured 400

Positive India: As per reports in AFP and PTI, today at 8:45am, serial bomb blasts hit Sri Lanka and killed 166 people and injured another 400 in Columbo and Batticaloa . Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that there is no place for such barbarism in the region. According to Sri Lankan police 166 people has been killed and 400 injured when a serial bomb blasts hit 3 churches and 3 hotels in Colombo and Batticaloa. The Sri Lankan Government has called an emergency meeting to contain the situation. Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena has urged his countrymen to keep calm. The first blast occured at Saint Anthony’s Church in Columbo and the second at St.Sebastian church in Negombo. 3 serial blast occurred at Cinnamon Grand hotel, Shangri La hotel and the Kingsbury hotel. One Church was hit in Batticaloa. PM’s residence is very near to Sri Lankan serial blast place. PM Narendra Modi has strongly condemned the serial blast that hit Sri Lankan on Easter. PM Modi Twitted,” I strongly condemn the horrific blast in our region. India stands in solidarity with the people of Sri Lanka. My thoughts with the bereaved family and prayers with the injured.”
