PM Modi Suspends Trade Across LOC

Positive India: PM Modi has halted the trade across LOC and this halting took effect from midnight of 18th April. This suspension is based on Intelligence reports submitted by both internal and external intelligence agencies of India. Intelligence reports say that trade on LOC is being misused by Pakistani based ISI and miscreants to bring in fake currency, narcotics and illegal weapons to foment millitancy in Jammu and Kashmir.
As per directives issued by Ministry of Home Affairs, trade on LOC would remain suspended until a stricter regulatory mechanism is put in place.
Because of this trade suspension by Central Government, there is a lot of hue and cry by opposition parties in the valley. Omar Abdullah says that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is undoing all the peace initiatives taken by Atal Bihari Vajpayee government. At the same time PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti is at great pains and has said that BJP was using Kashmir as a scapegoat to make electoral gains in election 2019.
Whatever the case may be, it is well known fact that the people who are instigating militancy in the valley, were using this trade on LOC as means to increase unrest in the valley .All the forces who are supporting militancy and separatist movement in Jammu and Kashmir were enjoying the fruits of this trade. It is the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has taken the strictest action against Pakistani based militants including air strikes in Balakot
Moreover, all the funding resources of of separatist leaders have been stopped. People who are sympathisers to militants have either been arrested or put in house arrest.
Stone pelting incidents have been decreased and “Operation All Out” is going on at full swing . Since Modi govt has given free hands to Army; they are eliminating militants responsible for militancy in Kashmir. Now, the time has come that government must take certain action regarding article 370 and 35A.
