PM Modi Pays Tributes To Soldiers Martyred In Handwara Encounter
Indian Security Forces eliminate militant Haider in Handwara Encounter.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tributes to valiant soldiers and security personnel martyred in Handwara in Jammu & Kashmir today.
PM Modi said, “Tributes to our courageous soldiers and security personnel martyred in Handwara. Their valour and sacrifice will never be forgotten. They served the nation with utmost dedication and worked tirelessly to protect our citizens. Condolences to their families and friends”.
In Handwara in Jammu & Kashmir,militants of LeT made 11 Kashmiri as hostages. 21 Rashtriya Rifles under the Command of Colonel Ashutosh Sharma surrounded the hostage place and asked militants to surrender but in vain. For the last 48 hours Indian Security Forces under Col Ashutosh Sharma kept militants engaged and freed all the 11 hostages.
In this encounter, Indian Security Forces eliminated two militants, including Haider, who was the top commander of LeT. In this #handwaraencounter, our 5 brave soldiers got Martyrdom. Col Ashutosh Sharma, Maj Anuj Sood, Dinesh, Rajesh and sub inspector Sagir Ahmad of Jammu & Kashmir police got martyred.
