PM Modi Gets Clean Chit On “Mission Shakti” By EC

Positive India:India has successfully tested its Anti-Satellite weapon system(A-SAT) by shooting and killing a live satellite in Low Orbit Earth at an altitude of 300km.This operation was code name ” Operation Shakti.” PM Narendra Modi addressed the nation by informing this grand success which put India in an elite club of US, Russia and China.But opposition parties like Congress took this matter to Election Commission of India and complained that PM Narendra Modi has violated Model Code of Conduct.
EC has set up one committee to look into this matter. On examination, committee found that PM Modi neither uttered any word related to election nor solicited any kind of support from voters. After fact findings, Election Commission of India gave clean chit to PM Modi. EC regarded this declaration by PM solely as national security issue;so, no violation of Model Code of Conduct.
