NHMMI Takes Initiative of Spreading Health Insurance Awareness on World Health Day

Positive India:Raipur:On World Health Day, NHMMI Multispeciality Hospital Raipur has taken initiative to spread Health Awareness among general public. To meet this objective NHMMI organized Free Medical Check ups on the one hand and Health Insurance Awareness Program on the other hand. Most of the hospitals undertake free medical camps on World Health Day. But NHMMI took one step ahead to spread Medical Insurance Awareness among masses. To spread this awareness, NHMMI organized Medical Health Insurance Mela in which more than 30 companies participated. Here more than 1000 general public visited various insurance stalls and compared premium versus benefits.
Vineet Saini-the facility director told that medical treatment costs are rising. We, as Indians take care of everything. Even, our bikes,scooters and cars are insured. But, unfortunately, we never take pain to take health insurance. We take it granted that we will remain healthy for ever. But once ailments grip us, it drains us financially. As part of our social responsibility, we have taken initiative to spread health insurance awareness so that people can take insurance for their health as well as financial well beings.
