Construction of Rest house for Vaidyas and opening of Paddy Purchase Center in Koteshwar Dham

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today attended the Traditional Vaidyaraj convention organized on the occasion of Rishi Panchami at Koteshwar Dham, in Dongardula of Nagri in Dhamtari district. The Chief Minister said that the State Government has started the work of saving the traditional knowledge of Vaidyas by recording it, this work will be taken further. While encouraging Vaidyaraj, he said that just as vegetables are grown in Bari, similarly Vaidyarajas should also plant medicinal plants in the Bari. Grant will also be given by the government for Vaidya Bari. On this occasion, Mr. Baghel announced center for processing and training of medicines in Koteshwar Dham, construction of rest houses for Vaidyas, opening of paddy procurement center, giving community forest rights lease in 4 hectare area to Koteshwar Dham, construction of stop dam in Saat dhara of Koteshwar Dham, construction of shed in Yajna Shala and arrangement of electricity and drinking water from solar energy in Koteshwar campus. Chief Minister directed Dhamtari District Collector to send a proposal for making Belergaon a tehsil.
