Positive India:The Telangana Govt headed by KCR has sacked 48000 striking employees of Telangana State transport Corporation. Some 50000 employees of SRTC were on strike since Friday, demanding merger of SRTC with state govt.
CM K.Chandradhekhar Rao has warned and given Saturday upto 6 pm to end their strike. The strikers took it lightly and did not end their strike. KCR took decision and sacked 48000 strikers with one blow.
KCR has ruled out any kind of negotiations with sacked employees. He told categorically,”It is an unpardonable crime that they went on strike during the festive season.”
To give relief to the passengers, Telangana Govt has hired 2500 private buses, which are plying all over the state.
The matter is pending before Telangana High Court and sheduled hearing is on 10th October-2019.
