ISRO launches Spy Satellite CARTOSAT 3

ISRO has successfully launnched third generation and most advanced CARTOSAT 3 through its PSLV C47 launch vehicle from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Shriharikota Andhra Pradesh.
CARTOSAT 3 is mapping and remote sensing imaging satellite which can take high resolution images of objects upto 9.84 inches from surface of the earth.
ISRO not only injected CARTOSAT 3 but also 13 nano satellites of USA.
CARTOSAT 3 will work for earth’s resource management,mapping,defence services and monitoring,infrastructure, and road networking. The most important work will be Defence sector as it provides important information regarding installation and movements of enemies. It can clearly read the times of watch on enemy hands, such is its resolution power! The life of CARTOSAT 3 is 5 years.
CARTOSAT satellites are Indian Earth Observation Satellites built and operated by ISRO.
Indian Space Research Organisation is profitable venture of Govt of India. ISRO has earned Rs.6280 crores in the last 3 years from its commercial launches. New Space India is the new commercial entity of ISRO.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated ISRO for the successful launch of CARTOSAT 3.
