India Test Fired 1000 km Range Sub Sonic Cruise Missile “Nirbhay”

Positive India: Today, India successfully test fired sub sonic cruise missile Nirbhay with a range of 1000 kilometres from test fire range Odisha.
Nirbhay is indigenously developed sub sonic cruise missile. In the first phase of launch, it is powered by solid rocket booster.its further propulsion is managed by Turbofan Engine.Nirbhay is equipped with Ring Laser Gyroscope based guidance system.Nirbhay can deliver 24 different types of warheads including nuclear warhead. With 1000 kilometer striking range, Nirbhay will supplement Brahmos missile with striking ability of 450 kilometres. It can fly in the air from 50m to 4 kilimetrs of earth atmosphere and destroy the targets.
