Positive India:Raipur;19 Sept 20:
Based on “Challenges and Solutions to Effective Work from Home”, the online webinar was organized by the Raipur branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and “Committee on Management Accounting”, New Delhi. In this webinar 2500 participants from all over the country took part.
At the time of the program CA Madan Mohan Upadhyay, who was also the past chairman of the Raipur branch and is currently a co-opted member in the “Committee on Management Accounting”, New Delhi, told that during this Corona Pandemic, the way people are getting sick, it makes sense to work from home. If you are working from home, you should also take care of data theft and security. The password should only be with the key person and should not be shared with any of its staff or other person; because if that staff went away from you today or tomorrow, that very person can also misuse it.This is the challenge in working from home. You can not tell 100 percent correctly, so the protection of password is very important and it is also very important to change it from time to time, so that you can protect your data from hacking.
To reduce the possibility data theft and what precautions should be taken, detailed discussion and suggestions were given so that social distancing can be followed and timely audit and income tax returns can be filed.
To work from home, we should give laptops or computers to our staff and set an office-like time limit at which time that person can connect remotely to the server and the server that is there should keep the CA with them so that they can see which employee is working.
Workers from home will also get a lot of support from the householders so that the family members do not harass them repeatedly while working because it affects the work efficiency and the work is not completed on time. He also told that it is very important to backup the data from time to time, otherwise if there is a problem and the data is missing then it can have very bad consequences, so it is very important to take backup.
The program was inaugurated by Present Chairman CA Kishore Bardia Raipur Branch. CA Amitabh Dubey, CA Suresh Agarwal and other members were also present. CA Anuj Goyal, Chairman, “Committee on Management Accounting”, New Delhi, also spoke on the utility of the program and emphasized its need, and CA Rajendra Kumar P, Vice Chairman of the Committee gave concluding remark for the session and proposed a vote of thanks.
