In “Ayaam-Unchi Udaan Ka”-A joint initiative of Raipur Smart City Ltd and Positive India, senior IAS Mr.Sonmoni Borah provided step by step guidelines and motivation to the aspirants of UPSC and state PSC, in Anand Samaj Library at Raipur(Chhattisgarh),India. Mr.Borah, Secretary-Water Resource Department, Chhattisgarh Govt, told aspirants that UPSC is not a hard nut to crack, provided aspirants are chasing their dreams with consistency and honesty. Quoting former President of India, Dr.Abdul Kalam, he told aspirants that their dreams should be big one; if they are dreaming small dreams, then they are doing injustice to themselves.
Mr.Borah further delineated that focused approach, determination, dedication, discipline and positive attitude will yield desired result. Every body is responsible to some extent. Unfortunately, this sense of responsibility is limited to one self only. It is wrong. One should become responsible first to ones motherland, nation, state, society, parents and then to oneself. Such kind of sense of responsibility will make person a good human being; and such kind of person will succeed in all walks of life.
He told that for best preparation, aspirants must say good bye to social media like Facebook, whattsapp, Google+ etc . It will kill both time and energy with wide destruction. But, they should take the help of Google Guru for preparation. Aspirants must take every chance as a last chance. It will pave a way to success. For best preparation, they should consult NCERT books. For current affairs, The Hindu and Spectrum are good choices. UPSC preparation is just like a “Tapasya”. Anyone can crack this, if he does this “Tapasya”
Additional Commissioner Raipur Nagar Nigam Mr.Avinash Bhoi gave vote of thanks to mentor Mr.Sonmoni Borah and all aspirants.
