India has won its first Gold Medal in Tokyo Olympic today when Neeraj Chopda won Gold in javelin throw. It is a historic win for India, which was much awaited by all Indians.
Neeraj Chopda won his first gold for India when he threw his javelin to 87.58 metres. This golden win by Neeraj will inspire the younger generations in the time to come.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Ramnath Kovind and Minister Anurag Thakur have congratulated Neeraj .
Chief Minister of Haryana has declared a cash prize of Rs.6 crores and class one gazetted post in govt sector.
Till now India has won 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 4 Bronze medals in Tokyo Olympics.
