Positive India: In a shocking incident, a girl student studying in class 10th has been brutally gangraped by 4 boys students of class 12th of Boarding school of Sahaspur in Dehradun-Uttrakhand.
When this heinous crime was reported to the school authorities, instead of taking complaint, the victim was threatened with dire consequences of throwing them out of school. Not only this, instead of repoting this crime to the police the director, principal, adminstrator and his wife gave certain drugs in her drinks so that she could abort. Even the victim was taken to nursing home for making abortion.
This heinous crime came to light when the gangrape victim fell ill and she narrated her ordeals to her elder sister studying in the same school. SSP Dehradun Nivedita Kukreti ordered the investigation. 9 persons including Director, Principal, Administrator and his Wife and 4 students have been arrested on the charges of Gangrape, and POCSO Act.
In the meanwhile Uttrakhand minister for Women and Child Welfare Rekha Arya has directed School Education Secretary to cancel the recognition of school at Sahaspur in Dehradun where gangrape happened.
