Positive India: Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh said that the industrious farmers will be given about Rs 2400 as bonus apart from Minimum Support Price (MSP) on the purchase of paddy. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had raised Rs 200 a quintal on paddy which is the highest increase ever. The farmers will get Rs 2050-Rs 2070 a quintal additional income on paddy. The farmers will be allocated support price and bonus from 1 November. He was addressing a mammoth public meeting at village Kotmi development block Pendra district Bilaspur. Marwahi belongs hard-working region of farmers. Farmers of the entire State will benefit.
Urban Development Minister Amar Agrawal, Zilla Pnchayat Chairman Deepak Sahu, large number of villagers and people’s representatives were also present.
Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh dedicated and performed ‘bhoomipujan’ of 49 developmental works worth Rs 132 crore. He dedicated 23 works worth Rs 18 crore 24 lakh and laid the foundation stone of 26 development works worth Rs 113 crore 44 lakh. He also distributed relief materials and cheques to several beneficiaries of State Government schemes.
Chief Minister said that farmers had been given the facility of ‘Flat’ rate of payment up to 5 horse power on irrigation pumps. Twelve lakh poor families are allowed ‘Flat ‘ rate on consumption of electricty till 40 units.The farmers are being provided Interest -free loans by the Co-Operative Banks.
Dr. Raman Singh said that Rs 750 crore Tendu-Patta bonus will be distributed during the Vikaas Yatra. He had embarked on the yatra by seeking the blessings of Maa Danteshwari and Maa Bambleshwari. He is seeking the blessings of common masses on the yatra of trust. It is like a pilgrimage.
Chief Minister said that 37 lakh poor families will benefit from the Rs 5 lakh Ayushmaan Bharat Yojana of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi which will cater to the health needs of the masses. Dr. Raman Singh said that PM Modi had enhanced the stature and prestige of the nation across the comity of nations. He added that Marwahi and the entire State will witness increasing development in the ensuing days.
Dr. Raman Singh dedicated Rs six crore 55 lakh worth bridge over river Sone river linking Daanikundi-Devridaand route, another bridge worth Rs 2.75 crore on Sone river linking Meduka route-Gamma tola route, electric sub-station worth Rs 2.50 crore at Sewni-Marwahi, Rs Two crore Basti diversion canal and Rs 45 lakh Barmuda Stop dam at Tilora Pendra
