Dr.Meera Baghel Fastens Her Belt To Contain COVID-19

Positive India:Raipur;19 June 2020:
Chhattisgarh under the leadership of CM Bhupesh Baghel is fighting against COVID-19 effectively. Thats the reason that state has seen total Corona Positive Cases of 1946 till 18th June.
Positive India has taken an exclusive Interview of Raipur CMHO Dr.Meera Baghel, who is spearing heading Corona Offensive against COVID-19 in Raipur district-the capital of Chhattisgarh.
Positive India: Mam, how are you implementing the policies and programs of Chhattisgarh Govt to contain COVID-19 in your district?

Dr.Meera Baghel:As per the guidelines issued by Govt, we have arranged everything including proper COVID-19 training of staff.The proactive approach and training has enabled us to contain COVID-19 till date. Today, 11 COVID-19 Positive Cases have been detected But at the same time 5 Corona Positive Cases have been discharged after their complete cure from Hospital.

Positive India: Mam, what about qurantine Centres?
Dr.Meera Baghel: As far as quarantine centres are concerned, we have managed very well. For the ease of Corona suspected cases, we are providing all the facilities to them. Even for kids, we have arranged various games so that they could not feel any kind of isolation.

Positive India:Mam, Raipur has seen meteoric rise of COVID-19 cases?
Dr.Meera Baghel:Yes, it is true. It is the resultant of migrants who especially came from Maharastra. But, see Raipur has total 183 Corona Positive Cases. Out of these, 89 cases have been discharged from hospital. 93 COVID-19 cases are under treatment. We are confident that soon they will be discharged too.

Positive India:Mam, what about mortality?
Dr.Meera Baghel: Unfortunately, 1 death has occurred due to COVID-19 in Raipur. Life is precious. Even single death pained us a lot.

Positive India:What about the safety of your Corona Warriors,who are fighting in the field?
Dr.Meera Baghel:As per the ICMR guidelines, we are ensuring their safety with prophylactic doses of Hydroxy Chloroquine and proper training on how to handle Corona Positive Cases and how to screen suspects in Containment Zones.
Moreover, all the time it is our efforts to percolate down various guidelines issued by both central and Chhattisgarh Govt for the effective containment of COVID-19 in Raipur district.
