Positive India: As was thought, Congress and its allies stalled Triple Talaq Bill in Upper House that is Rajya Sabha. BJP Govt has already passed Triple Talaq Bill in Loksabha where it has majority.
Congress has demanded to send Triple Talaq Bill to Select Parliamentary Committee to further scrutinise the bill. Rajyasabha has been adjourned till January 2, 2019.
Supreme Court has already declared Triple Talaq as “unconstitutional”. Triple Talaq is being practised in Muslim community to give divorce by pronouncing Talaq, Talaq, Talaq.
