Positive India: Raipur Nagar Nigam Commissioner Rajat Bansal has interacted with NGOs of Raipur, who are actively participating in the Dengue Awareness Programs in Raipur. The purpose of this interaction was two fold. One, to know the personal experiences of volunteers of NGOs who are undertaking Dengue awareness programs in the form of Street Shows, Road shows and Dengue Preventive Medical Camps; and the other was to felicitate the efforts of doctors who are giving their selfless services to ward off Dengue from Raipur.
Commissioner Rajat bansal clarified the concept of people Powered Smart City, where citizens actively participate in various developmental activities as well as preventive activities taking onus on themselves.
Mr Bansal appreciated the efforts of NGOs like JCI, Green Army, Samerth, KFHB, Bunch of Fools, Durga College, Gurukul Mahila Mahavidyalay, Chhattisgarh Nursing College, Govt Nursing College, Chhattisgarh Collge, Mahant College, NSS, Kopal Vani, Positive India, Mor Raipur Club and Smile-the Helping hands. He assured that Nagar Nigam and Raipur Smart City will ever be ready to support these organisations to make Raipur a People powered Smart City.
Some doctors, who are giving their free services in Dengue Medical Check Up camps were felicitated by Rajat Bansal with Appreciation Certificates. They were Dr.Priyanshu Sharma, Sangeeta Thakur and Vasu of Jaggannath Hospital, Dr.Utkarsh Trivedi of Vishwa Swasthya Samiti etc.
