Banning CBI does not mean that CBI will not enter in Chhattisgarh. Those cases ordered by Central Govt, Supreme Court and High Courts, CBI will register and investigate cases. It will not register cases at its own in Chhattisgarh. Now, it will have to take permissions from Bhupesh Baghel Govt in Chhattisharh. TMC and TDP have banned CBI and now Congress has also banned. As per opposition The said ground is, “The Narendra Modi Govt of BJP is using CBI against its adversaries.”
In fact, Modi Govt at Centre has come down heavily on corruption, be it corrupt politicians or corrupt bureaucrats sitting at highest positions and looting and plundering Indian Economy.
Modi Govt has taken stern action in case of CBI too. Both CBI Director Alok Verma and Special Director Rakesh Asthana have been removed from their posts on ground of corruption charges. It was for the first time in the history of CBI that paramilitary personnel entered CBI Headquarter and sealed the offices and premises of CBI Director. It did happen for the first time in the history of CBI that its Director has been removed on charges of corruption.
