Chief Minister Mr. Baghel flagged off the structure built for bridge construction in Katra area of Jammu-Kashmir

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that in the current scenario of cut-throat competition, Bhilai city of Chhattisgarh is doing the noble act of supporting and connecting. It is a matter of joy that the first consignment of the structure built for construction of world’s tallest railway bridge on River Chenab in Katra area of Jammu-Kashmir has been sent from Bhilai city. It is a moment of pride for not only Bhilai but entire Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today flagged off the first consignment of the structure built for Bridge No. 43 being constructed in Katra area of Jammu Kashmir by Konkan Railway Corporation, from Birbhaat of Dhamdha block of Durg district.
On the occasion, Chief Minister said that Bhilai Steel Plant is the result of the vision and the efforts of Pt Jawaharlal Nehru. After establishment of Bhilai Steel Plant, Bhilai underwent progress in every sector and contributed to the development of the country. People of various communities, religion and caste stay together in Bhilai with harmony and peace. Bhilai is leading in not only education sector but also in sports. He said that natural resources and human resources are abundantly available in Chhattisgarh. Government will support the entrepreneurs, investors interested in contributing towards the industrial development of the state. Chief Minister planted a sapling on the occasion. In the programme, MLA Mr. Devendra Yadav, Collector Mr. Ankit Anand, SP Mr. Prakhar Paney and other senior officials were present.
