Bhupesh Baghel Govt has imposed Curfew in all urban areas of Chhattisgarh to prevent the spread of #CORONAVIRUS in Chhattisgarh.
CM Bhupesh Baghel addressed the people of the state and thanked them for the cent percent observance of voluntary curfew. While addressing the people of the state, the Chief Minister called them out as dear brothers and sisters and greeted them with Jai Johar. He further said, thank you very much to all of you. The people of Chhattisgarh have observed 100 percent voluntary curfew yesterday and today. Not only in big cities, but even in small villages, people have restricted themselves to their homes and have fulfilled unprecedented social and national responsibility. It will be counted as an extremely important contribution towards the survival of human race and fighting against the battle of the corona virus epidemic. He further said that, with your cooperation today, my belief has now been strengthened that in the next few weeks if we have fulfil our obligation in the same way and remain in our own homes, then we will be able to fully defeat Corona in Chhattisgarh as well as the entire country.

The Chief Minister said that the people of Chhattisgarh and the country have always shown a sense of dedication and patriotism in the times of trouble. We have taken many necessary decisions to stop the spread of corona virus in Chhattisgarh. Lockdown or isolation has been considered as the only effective way to prevent corona virus worldwide and they are also strictly following it. The central government stopped the passenger rail service till 31st March. To prevent the spread of virus in Chhattisgarh too, we have decided to increase the curfew by 31st March in urban areas. During this period all offices, institutions, transport services and other activities will be closed. Essential services such as medical shops, Kirana shops, general stores, vegetables, milk, petrol pumps will remain open. Along with this, electricity supply, water supply services, domestic gas supply service, municipal cleaning and waste disposal services and commercial transport services of essential commodities will continue to function as seamlessly as before. Citizens should dial toll-free number 104 for health services and 112 for any other problem.
