Brand Modi once again clicked in Karnatka. BJP has emerged has the largest party with 104 seats. As single largest party, it has staked its claim to form govt in Karnatka. In turn, governor too have invited B S Yeddyurappa to form govt and prove the majority on floor.
Karnatka poll result has proved that people have become smart enough to thwart political agenda of corrupt political leaders. The classical example is Lungayat card played by Siddaramaiah to divide the society on cast basis and win the election. But people of Karnatka have taught a lesson to political masters as Congress has lost 22 seats in Lingayat dominated constituencies as compared to last election.
Desperation of Congress led by Rahul Gandhi is clearly seen, when he decided to offer his unconditional support to former PM HD Deve Gowda’s son HD Kumaraswamy as CM from outside. It is to be noted that JDS is third largest party. Here role has reversed. King maker tries to become king himself. Unfortunately, it is not going to happen, as governor has already asked the BJP, the single largest party to form the govt by 17th and 18th May.
The result of Karnatka has proved the Modi magic has not dimished. It still works and people want prosperty, jobs and equal opportunities for their growth and development. Various policies started by PM Narendra Modi stands tested. And the result will have profound impact on Rajasthan, Madhy Pradesh and Chhattisgarh election due in 2018.
