Positive India:For wide promotion of Right to Information Act 2005, a daylong division-level workshop of Urban Administration and Development Department will be organized on May 11 at new conventional hall of new circuit house. State Information Commissioner MK Raut will be the Chief Guest of the programme. Director, Urban Administration and Development Department Mr. Saumil Ranjan Choubey will be the special guest of the occasion. In the workshop, Prof. Tapesh Chandra Gupta, master trainer Chhattisgarh College, will brief on Right to Information and provide information regarding its various aspects including the procedure, fees, context, redressal, time-limit, reason for refusal etc.
Likewise, Master Trainer would also provide information regarding maintenance of record, presentation of information, powers and responsibilities of State Information Commissions, appeal and files, roles and responsibilities of Appellate Officer, roles and responsibilities of Assistant Public Information Officers.
