Positive India: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel attended Guru Ghasidas Jayanti programme held in Gram Panchayat Kasahi and village Ausar of Paaran block in Durg district on Sunday. He did rounds of Jaitkham with white flag and performed customary rituals. He prayed for peace and prosperity for Chhattisgarh state. On the occasion, CM Baghel said that Guru Ghasidas weaved the human society into unity with his message of ‘Mankhe Mankhe Ek Samaan’. He promoted the vision of casteless society and social harmony. We all should adopt Baba Guru Ghasidas’ teachings into our lives. On the occasion, Chief Minister Baghel was welcomed by the organizers and congratuled for being elected as Chief Minister.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said in his address to the programme that Guru Ghasidas’s teachings are relevant for the society even today. He said that we will follow the path showed by Baba Guru Ghasidas to make Chhattisgarh – the leading state of the country. State Government has taken the historical decision of waivering off farmers’ loans just in 10 days, which has brought smiles on the faces of farmers of the state. Likewise, State Government has also decided to hike support price of paddy to Rs 2500 per quintal. On the occasion, local representatives of the villages and a large number of villagers were present.
