Positive India: Dr.Raman Singh as Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh has got big success on Anti-Naxal Operation. Figures indicate that in 2016, 133 naxalites were killed in encounter by Chhattisgarh Police. In 2017, 140 maoists were eliminated. Even naxal top leaders have accepted in writing that their 98 cadres have been killed by security forces.
It clearly indicates that “Operation Prahar” started by Chhattisgarh Police is yielding desired result. In 2018 till date 71 naxalites have been encountered and eliminated. Out these 21 are women naxalites with 1 to 5 lacs award on their heads. It is big success for CG Police.
Top naxal leadership has changed their tactics. Anti-Naxal Operation DIG P.Sunder Raj has told that Maoists leadership has fielded Sujata-the wife of Kishanji, and Savitri- the wife of Ganapati to lead Bastar Military Battalion of naxalites. Intelligence sources have detected their presence in Sukma of Baster.
