Chhattisgarh Govt has awarded Dr Gautam Chand Jain with prestigious Dhanvantari Samman for his noted and unparalleled contributions in the field of Ayurvedic treatment, education and research.
On the eve of Chhattisgarh’s Foundation Day, CM Bhupesh Baghel honoured Dr.Gautam Chand Jain with Dhanvantari Award. 43 years of meritorious services of Dr Gautam in the field of Ayurveda, Ayurvedic Medicines, Ayurvedic Education and Research have been well recognized by Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh. Dr Jain retired from Ayurvedic Medical College in 2016 as principal.
After his retirement, he relentlessly serves the people of Chhattisgarh especially Raipur with his Ayurveda Treatment at his residence of Indravati Colony Raja Talab,Raipur.His Ayurvedic Treatments are cost effective and people suffering from various chronic diseases visit him from far flung areas.
To those patients who are poor and unable to pay, Dr Gautam Chand Jain treats them free of cost. Perhaps this is the best service to suffering humanity;other than his outstanding work in the field of Ayurveda research; thats the reason that Govt of Chhattisgarh has honoured him with Dhanvantari Samman.
In Devasur Sangram, the wounded devas were treated only by Lord Dhanvantri. Lord Dhanvantri was recited repeatedly in the world for the health and welfare of the world.
In this way, with the emergence of Lord Dhanvantri, Sanatan, meaningful and eternal Ayurveda also emerged, who has protected the health and culture of the people from its origin till date. In the current era, the teachings of Ayurveda are equally virtuous and eternal, as their rules of nature. Lord Dhanvantri divides Ayurveda into eight limbs, from which the contents of Ayurveda are simple, accessible and utilized. His fame became so widespread that the community started operating under the name of them.
In order to honor the individuals / institutions for outstanding contribution in the field of Ayurvedic medicine, education and research and research by the state government, ‘Dhanvantarathi Samman’ has been established in memory of Deodulya Lord Dhanvantri.
